USING SAPPHIRE TRIXX ON GIGABYTE DRIVER
I would highly recommend *against* buying AMD graphics cards because of how poor their driver support is. I have since returned this card for newegg credit. I took a chance for the underdog and got burned for it. This is supposed to be my relax time and AMD got in the way of that.

Overall Review: I do not care to troubleshoot driver bugs and find workarounds for my gaming setup. I have a 650w power supply that I've used for years with greater loads, even running SLI 660ti's before I got this card with no issues. Whenever my computer would read from disk, the brightness of my game would adjust as though the card was not properly being powered. AMD's cards apparently have issues with using a stable power supply, too. There are bugs with running full-screen applications at 240hz that prevent them from being full-screened again once they have been minimized.

I play at 240hz and for the past 3 version, AMD's drivers have given me nothing but headaches.
USING SAPPHIRE TRIXX ON GIGABYTE UPGRADE
If you get it for gaming, know that it will put you in the mix for pretty much everything but you will probably want to upgrade later to a more gaming specific card and monitor.Ĭons: -AMD's drivers are horrible. Great for a multi-monitor setup when working on multiple projects/tasks and renders.Ĭons: It's not the best gaming GPU on the market by a long shot, but it is definitely not the worst either. Its got plenty of ports 1 DVI, 2HDMI and 2 Display Ports. It may not rock on top tier games like some of the other higher priced cards but you can definitely step into the ring and battle with it. AMD has stepped up their processor game in the past couple of years and maybe let it slide a bit on GPUs compared to Nvidia but this card is still a nice addition to my system at the purchase price of $189 when I got it. That being said, I know from some gaming friends that this card is a nice entry into gaming before maybe dropping the bigger bucks on something like a 1070/1080 or better. This card helps in those pursuits but is not as important as memory, processor cores, and threads. Pros: I am not a gamer but a photographer and videographer.
